Books:
* Thanks, Brad. Now my politics are as flexible as my body.
Events:
- Took a trip to Houston to drop off a new computer for the fam.
- I hate Houston, but it was nice to see Dennis.
- The Bilge Pumps @ The Tipperary Inn
- I had a birthgay.
- Some people joined me at the Bilge Pumps show to commemorate it. They say they are my friends and that they are happy I’ve gone another year without dying. I think it was more akin to rubber-necking at an automobile accident. Morbid fascination.
- Either way, thanks for coming out guys.
- Happy birthday to Matt J. as well.
- And to the newest member of the vortex, Anthony Jack P.
- I’m a bit miffed he didn’t pop out on my birthday.
- Congratulations to Tony & Mindy, not that they read this…
- Games at Dolly’s
- Drakon was fun.
- So was being on a winning trivia team for once.
- Magic show at D’Vine Wine
- This was a Feral Friends fund raiser.
- I was entertained, and the wine wasn’t half bad.

Spam YTD: 138159 (2067 making it to my inbox)
Books:
With half the year gone I’ve read 18 books, 9 of them being on my TBR list. That makes me more than half way to my self imposed goal of reading 31 books this year, and by the end of July I should have technically completed the TBR challenge.
Events:
- Happy birthgay Fictionfiend.
- Reverand Horton Heat @ the Dallas City Arts Festival
- White Ghost Shivers @ Late Nights at the DMA
- Cool things to do downtown two weeks in a row? What city am I in, and what have you done with Dallas?
- Happy birthday Tiff
- and Jason
- and Snackstealer
- Games at Dolly’s
- I’m pretty sure I lost every game I played.
- I also got whined at for using the dictionary at a time not precisely convenient for everybody else at the table. Said whiner can either donate several copies of the house dictionary or, with all due respect, go to Hell.
- Fun, nevertheless.
